Changing Study

At creativeintension we understand that circumstances and study goals change. Therefore we offer a number of options to change your study.

Transferring Courses

Changing the date of a face-to-face course:

  • Notification is five working days prior to course commencement
  • Subject to vacancies in the nominated upcoming course date/s
  • Re-enrolment fee of $115 (dependent on course)
  • Can nominate a replacement student.

Transfer from public course to a distance course or vice versa:

  • Must be 5 working days prior to course commencement
  • Re-enrolment fee of $115 and any cost difference

Transfer from one course to another

  • On case by case basis

Deferment, Lapsed Studies and Non-completion

Students have a certain timeframe to complete a course. Trainers and coaches will continually review your progress and help you reach your goals. Ultimately, it is up to students to manage studies effectively in order to complete the course within the timeframe.

Deferment

  • Must be in writing to the trainer or coach
  • Maximum deferment of 12 months
  • Only one deferment will be issued per course
  • A student’s enrolment in a course will be cancelled after 12 months (refer to non-completion policy)

Lapsed Studies

Enrolment will be cancelled if your trainer or coach has not received any assessment evidence or appropriate correspondence from students after a 45 day lapse. Students will be notified in writing of any decision to cancel due to lapsed studies. A transcript of results will be send with the notification to cancel. Lapsed students can choose to re-enrol.

Non-completion

The duration of a course is mapped in the course outline and in personal learning agreements. Courses which are not completed in the given time-frame will be cancelled without refund.

Students who do not complete a course can choose to:

  • Be issued with a Statement of Attainment for units completed
  • Re-enrol within twelve months of cancellation date

Re-enrolment

Re-enrolment is subject to a $115 re-enrolment fee, plus an additional coaching fee which is subject to the units already undertaken. A maximum of three months will be provided to complete the course.
