Why “Creative inTension”?
You probably don’t experience much tension in your personal
or working life but many of our clients do.
Tension between:
- what we want and what we have (our vision and our current situation),
- what I am doing now and what I know I could
or should be doing,
- my values and beliefs and what I find myself
doing every day,
- people, myself included, on many fronts,
- logic and emotion – people
and ‘things’
- the need for planning and the need
for action
- the need for quality control and the need for
innovation.
Need I go on?
The name “Creative inTension” grew out of the recognition
that our group was mainly adding value to people and organisations
by:
Assisting them to become more creative
Assisting them to maintain creativity in times of tension and stress
Assisting them to be more successful by becoming clear on their intention
Assisting them to sustain their efforts when times are tough – through
intension
Therefore – Creative inTension!
As you work with us you may discover (or confirm) that life can
be simple (although sometimes not easy) but that the more you
focus on what you really want, learn to notice what’s really
happening and generate flexibility in what you do the better
your results will be.
Someone very wise, it might have been Ghandi, once said:
If you want to create change then “Be the change that
you want to create”.
Now there’s a thought…
