Robert Scott has over 40 years’ experience working in human resources and training and development roles in Australia and overseas. As a HR professional, he held senior management positions in the public and private sectors. Working as a consultant, he has worked in the sports; mining; agriculture and financial services industries.
In his 22 year military career with the RAN and RAAF he saw active service in Vietnam and peace time service in Malaysia. During that time he was in charge of a number of Squadrons and led and contributed to significant military training projects including development of the Certificate of Technology Apprentice scheme conducted jointly with Melbourne RMIT and the development of competency based trade training for Aircraft Electrical Fitters and Airframe Fitters. Bob also had extensive experience in delivering workplace trainer courses and eventually led development of the Squadron delivering management and instructional methods training to RAAF personnel Australia wide into a school in its own right.
Bob holds a Master of Business (Human Resource Management) from Charles Sturt University, a Bachelor of Arts (Education) from Deakin University, and a Certificate IV – Workplace Assessor. He is an accredited workplace auditor and recently completed a Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety with the University of Ballarat (VIOSH).
