Darren Peake is Partner of, and Senior Consultant at, creativeintension. Darren has over 15 years’ experience in business management complimented by 10 years in leadership development, performance management as well as personal and career counselling.
Working his way into senior management positions ‘on the business’ in transport, logistics & security industries he transitioned his career in order to focus on people ‘in the business’. Building his skills while studying, he worked in counselling and coaching before opening his own consultancy ‘Peake Performance Management’. He recently joined creativeintension as a facilitator and coach as well as delivering our leadership development programs.
Darren is well equipped to guide employees through change. He focuses on increasing self-awareness, challenging an individual’s understanding of their role and the roles of others, and assisting them to work through issues that may hold them back personally and professionally.
Clients and workshop participants trust and respect Darren due to his in-depth understanding of the pressures and responsibilities faced by frontline workforces and their management. His unique sets of methodologies resonate within the workshops as they are designed to help individuals thrive professionally and balance their life.
Darren holds an Advanced Diploma in Business Management, Diploma of Communication and Counselling, Certificate in Training and Assessment, Certificates II, III, IV in Psychotherapy and is shortly to complete a Master of Science (Psychotherapy). He is a member of the Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association of NSW and volunteers at the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre.
