Michelle Christie – Senior Consultant

Mcihelle ChristieMichelle has over 10 years’ experience in Training & Assessment gained within the pharmacy industry and operating within all aspects of community pharmacy. In mid-2007 Michelle was the deserving state winner of the Pharmacy Assistant of the Year Award (PATY NSW) and joined the Pharmacy Guild Training Division in February 2008. During this time, Michelle focused on the administration of pharmacy training via distance education and online training programs as well as being extensively involved in AQTF compliance. Known for being an inspiring workplace trainer/assessor, Michelle coached pharmacy assistants across NSW and ACT to not just complete their qualifications but to aim higher to achieve their career goals. She was a mentor to state and national finalists competing in the pharmacy assistant of the year awards. Michelle is an advocate for student recognition and initiated a NSW Guild Training Student of the Month Award to recognise students for their high quality of work, their workplace contribution or their improvement and application to their studies.

Michelle has numerous qualifications including a Diploma of Management, Cert IV in Training and Assessment, Cert IV in Frontline Management, Cert III in Business Administration and Certs II-IV in Community Pharmacy. She is currently undertaking a Diploma in Quality Auditing and plans to undertake a Diploma in Training in 2012.

Michelle has a 'can do' attitude, energy and passion for mentoring people to perform at their best. She prides herself on a high standard of professionalism, accuracy and diligence.
